the location on my son’s phone is not working. It says that the location indicator is on, but it is not refreshing when he’s not right next to me. How can I fix this?

Thanks for your question! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the location on your son's Gabb phone.

If the location of your Gabb device isn't updating, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Make sure your Gabb device is turned on, charged, and has at least three bars of cell service (or is connected to WiFi).
2. Restart your Gabb device.
3. Manually update the device’s location:
   1. Open the MyGabb app on your (parent’s) smartphone.
   2. Tap on your device.
   3. Tap the Refresh button in the bottom-left corner of the map.
