How do you manage phone-free zones?

Ooooo this new group is so fun!

I'd love to hear if any of you parents have areas in your house (like bedrooms or dinner table) that phones aren't allowed? Has it worked? How do you manage it?

My child, whom I love, and I are struggling with this so any tips are appreciated🙏

We don't allow phones in bedrooms at night. My sons' phones are charged in the living room. Hopefully this keeps them off TikTok and Instagram into the wee hours of the morning. 😅 They didn't like that rule at first but now that everyone is used to it, they don't complain anymore. They seem to be more rested in the morning too which is great for school!
