What do you do when your kids say "Everyone else has social media" or certain apps like SnapChat?
The saying "Would you jump off a cliff if your friends were" isn't quite doing it for my child😅
What strategies have worked for you?
Ugh I have been having the same problem with my 14 y/o. He wants Tik Tok sooo bad. We have talked at length about the dangers of social media and how kids can be easily manipulated and victimized. I think knowing the dangers and the "why" behind the reason has helped him. It was also a good chance to talk to him about online safety.
