Unable to edit Primary Contact

Question

I have a Gabb 4 phone I just received and I typo'd my first name in the MyGabb app and support has told me being unable to edit/delete the primary contact is a known issue. I see this has been an issue since 2024 (fixed previously). All the fields are greyed out and I can't even add a picture.

Can anyone else tell me if they're having this issue too? This is super disappointing to run across a bug in the first hour of owning the phone :-( If there is anyone on the dev side that can let me know timeline for this to be fixed that would be great. I'm on V 2.23.0 of the MyGabb app

Hi @FMPEvo, So sorry to hear about this frustration with editing your contact name. Good news is that you can update your contact name! Here are the steps: * Log into your MyAccount at Gabb.com * Scroll down and find Edit your account information under Your Account * Here you can edit your name You can also find this option through your MyGabb app on your parent phone: * Open your MyGabb app on your parent phone * Select the hamburger menu in the top left corner * Select Account Settings * Select Account Profile * Select Edit * This will Navigate you to your MyAccount at Gabb.com If you would like to change the Display Name on your Gabb device to say "Mom, Mommy, Dad, Daddy, etc", here are the steps: * Open your MyGabb app on your parent phone * Select the desired contact * Select Manage * Select Contacts * Select the desired contact * Type in the Display Name * Select Save Hope this helps! -Reagan
