Gabb Watch 2 dead?

We haven’t needed our Gabb Watch 2 for the past several months. When we went to put it on my daughter today, it would not turn on. It had been stored on the charger, so it shouldn’t be a battery issue. Is there any way to revive this device, or any idea why it might not be turning on?

    Hi @Smileymeg,

    Sorry to hear you are having some trouble with your Gabb Watch 2. The connection between the Watch and the charger could be causing this issue. Here is a troubleshooting step to help:

    1. Some really tough and thorough cleaning of the charging plates on the Gabb Watch 2 as well as the pogo pins of the charger could be needed to help the connection. This process is shown here: Cleaning Your Gabb Watch Charging Plates
    2. The charger could need to be replaced. Because we do not carry Gabb Watch 2 any longer, we no longer have chargers available for sale. You can find a replacement on Amazon by searching for "Gabb Watch 2 charger".

    If you are still experiencing trouble with the charging on our Gabb Watch 2 after the new charger and following the cleaning video, upgrading to the Gabb Watch 3 could be a great next step. Since we no longer sell the Gabb Watch 2, we would love to help you upgrade to our new and improved Gabb Watch 3!  This watch uses wireless charging instead of the pogo pins, has a Gorilla Glass screen, supports up to 100 parent-approved contacts, and more.     You can upgrade your device anytime by following these steps. From a computer:

    1. Log into your MyAccount
    2. Select "Upgrade Device" on the left hand side of the page
    3. Select the line you would like to upgrade
    4. Follow the remaining upgrading steps

    • Completed a contract or been with us for 12+ consecutive months on No Contract? Get a free device for signing up for a 2 year contract, 50% off for signing a 1 year contract and 25% off for a month to month plan when upgrading!

    I cant reach customer support. Bought 2 of these these Gabb 2 watches in 2022 and never used them. Even paid for 2 years of service unknowingly. What a waste. Well now my kids are older and id like to try these out. They won't charge at all. Cant connect to them with the app and QR codes... overall nothing is working here. I need to return and exchange for the 3 which I see now is the only option. These are brand new, inbox, completely untouched. Really disappointing that they're completely nonfunctional. @customersupport

    We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing trouble getting in contact with Customer Support to troubleshoot your Gabb Watch 2's. We merged your post into this one as there are troubleshooting steps that could help with the battery error you are experiencing.

    Concerning the trouble with connecting your Gabb Watch 2's to your parent phone through the MyGabb app, the devices may need some troubleshooting preformed by our Customer Support team to connect them to the network as they have been dormant over the last two years. They can also looks to see what your upgrades options are as you have not yet used the Gabb Watch 2's.
