ETA For GABB 3 to have contact back up?

Hello,

Wanted to see if there have been any updates yet to the Gabb3 cloud back ups? Like many others, my kids watch stops working almost monthly and I have to do a soft or hard reset. Having thewatch for over a year this is obviously quite time consuming and inefficient to manually re-add contacts and settings each month.

While I wish I hadn’t purchased this watch we still have a contract so would like to know the timeline to fix this vs things like backing Gabb Go up to the Cloud, as this seems less important to parents in my mind. I already have the instructions on how to resent, check for updates, connection etc so no need to post that, we do these things almost weekly trying to get this watch to work. I hate how scary it feels not being able to locate or get a hold of my son with this watch as I never know when the battery will suddenly die or it stops working while I’m in another state traveling for work :(

    Thank you for this post and great question! We're always exploring new ways to enhance every users experience. One idea we’re particularly excited about is making Gabb Cloud a feature on the Gabb Watch 3e for the exact reasons you mentioned. We do not yet have a release date for this feature as it is still in the early stages.

    My son has a Gabb 2 and I ordered a Gabb 3e to upgrade his watch. He is really worried about the coins and pets he has earned. Will they be lost when his phone number and info is transferred to the 3e watch?

    Hi @arg45,

    Your post was merged into this one as others have asked a similar question. The feature you're thinking of to transfer data such as coins/pet purchases in Gabb Go from one watch to another would be Gabb Cloud. This is not yet a feature available to our Gabb Watch 3e's but we are excited about making this a feature in the future. As stated above, we will keep this post updated as things develop.
