New Gabb 4 phone and voice to text not working. I have enabled all permissions and reset the phone. Still not working. Please assist.

    Hi @Khurt5,

    Thank you for your question. When using Voice to Text on the Gabb Phone 4, ensure you are using the correct voice option. The photo below shows which option to choose:

    The option at the top right of the keyboard will not enable this feature. The option next to the photo icon must be selected to enable this feature. If you continue to experience this error, please try all the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Reset on the Gabb Phone 4:
      1. Open Settings App -> System -> Reset Options -> Reset Wifi & Bluetooth
      2. Open Settings App -> System -> Reset Options -> Reset App Preferences -> Reset Apps
      3. Open Settings App -> System -> Reset Options -> RESET SETTINGS
    2. Check for App Updates on Gabb Phone 4:
      1. Select “Device Command
      2. Go to “Frequently” then “Install or Update app
      3. Select the name of the app you want to update
      4. Select OK
    3. Reset with Customer Support:
      1. Please contact Customer Support by Live-Chat through www.gabb.com, or by phone call at 385.235.6646 Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m-6:30 p.m., MT or Saturday from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. MT.

  • That allows for a voice memo but not voice to text… I'm having the same issue as the other person. Voice to text is not working for me as well.
