FTC Click to Cancel compliance
The FTC made a ruling somewhat recently in October of 2024 about subscription services needing to be as easy to cancel as they are to sign up.
I'm curious if the cancelation process for Gabb fits that criteria. There is an option to cancel over the phone, but would require calling during business hours and I'm not sure how long of a process that would be.
The other option is to submit a cancelation form which I chose to fill out, and I had to fill out a lot of information that they should have had access to as I was signed into my account, so I was going back and forth copying in information from my account. After filling out the form they say it may be 7-10 business days for them to respond and that requests are responded to in the order they were received. Not exactly a click to cancel experience, and it's not clear in the documentation if the prorated amount of the final month is based on when the cancelation was requested or if it's based on when they actually respond to your cancelation request.
