Moby Face not working 3e?

so our son got a 3r for Christmas, along with a Star Wars watch band that includes some digital stuff via Moby Face.

However my issue is when attempting to open the Moby Face in the Gabb app, I am always greeted with a message “Please update the firmware on your child’s device before you can continue.”

His firmware however is updated and I am still unable to get past this screen to activate/install his Star Wars watch faces or such.

Any help would be appreciated.

any idea why I am still unable to open the Moby Face app in the MyGabb app even if my watch is updated to newest firmware?

it keeps telling me to update my child’s device to the newest firmware before continuing, which doesn’t allow me to continue further to get my sons digital faces done

currently using the newest B1.590 firmware already as I double checked, and updated

So sorry to see you're experiencing some trouble getting the Moby Fox Star Wars band added to your MyGabb app for your Gabb Watch 3. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help:

Ensure your MyGabb app is up to date

You can ensure your MyGabb app is up to date by deleting then re-install MyGabb App

Force reinstall all Apps

Go to settings (Swipe from the right side to the left twice to reach the Settings screen)
Long press on the "ID" button
A confirmation screen will appear. Select confirm
If the checkmark is selected, the installation will start
Installation may take a while to start. Leave the device on the charger and preferably connected to Wi-Fi.

App Update on the Gabb Watch 3:

Connect Gabb Watch to WiFi by going to the settings app
Open the ID app on the watch
Tap Update App until the screen says "Apps are up to date!" You may need to tap the button multiple times. This may take several minutes to finish.
Turn the watch off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds, select the power off icon on the watch screen, wait 15 seconds, then hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on.

System Update on the Gabb Watch 3:

Place watch on charger. Watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating
Open the Check for Updates app
Tap the update button. The watch will automatically restart when the update is done.

Soft reset to the Gabb Watch 3:

Hold the power button down for 4 seconds
Select the power off icon on the watch screen
Wait 15 seconds
Hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on

Hard reset (Factory Reset) on the Gabb Watch 3

On the MyGabb App: Unpair the watch
1. Select the "Devices" tab
2. Select "Profile" on the watch you need to unpair
3. Scroll to the bottom of the profile and select "Remove Device"
4. Select "Remove and Reset"
On the Watch: Factory Reset the watch
1. Place the watch on the charger
2. Press the back button (top right button) 10 times fast
3. Select the checkmark on the watch
4. The watch will power off, factory reset, then power back on when it’s finished
5. Pair back to the watch

ended up doing a hard reset and it fixed.

The watch had other issued it seemed that must have stemmed from the activation process. Locate function wasn’t working initially etc but all is well now.

My son loves it
