deleting messages?

I got my son a Gabb watch for Christmas. I've noticed that he can delete his messages that he receives or sends. Is there a way to turn that feature off? I don't want him to be able to delete messages.

    Hi @Joanne,

    Great question! Parents can use the Gabb Messenger for parents app to control the deletion settings for your child’s messages. You can allow your child to delete messages instantly, after 30 days, or never.

    Follow these steps to set up deletion settings for your child:

    1. Log in to the Gabb Messenger for parents app from your (parent’s) smartphone. 
    2. Tap Controls at the bottom of the screen.
    3. Tap the profile of the child you want to manage deletion settings for.
    4. Tap Deleting Settings. 
    5. Select the radio button next to the deletion setting you want. Your selection will be saved automatically.

    So do parents need to have MyGabb app and Gabb Messenger app? I was just texting my son. He has a WATCH not a phone. Or is Gabb Messenger just for phones?
