Can I still use my Gabb watch as a normal watch after disconnecting service

My kids have the old Gabb watch 2 and we have cancelled service because we no longer need it, but they still want to use it as just a normal watch. We were using it to tell time, but the time was not correct and needed to be reset. I did a hard reset, but without the service, it cannot connect to network to update. Can I still bypass service and have the watch still work?

    Hi @LIzSK,

Good question! The Gabb Watch 3e does not have the ability to function without an active monthly plan. The device must be connected to our network to pair to the parent MyGabb app to receive information such as time. Sorry for any trouble this might cause.

    Hope this helps!

This should be an option. Especially since you have a product that becomes used but could still function. We updated to a phone now, what to do with electronics Gabb made useless and you don't provide any options for recycling. To be a better company for the planet do something. For me since still a customer you should have an option to make the watch work as just that a watch or a buy back option and let others use a used watch at a discount.
