Any one else having an issue with their kid's watch turning on and off constantly?????

My daughter's watch is only 6 months old and we have nothing but issues ever since. Wish we hadn't committed to a 2 year contract. This past week it started randomly turning itself on and off, on and off, on and off. Constantly. To the point that it turns burning hot and we just shut it down and try again later. It's apparently up to date on all updates. I'm so fed up. Customer service is never any help as they always end up telling us we need to do a factory reset. Which means we loose all data and I have to put in all her numbers and chores and other info all over again. In the last 6 months we've have to do this nearly as many times.

    This error is not one we have seen many reports of for our team to investigate. With that said, our team has been notified of this.     I got the Gabb Watch 3E for my daughter for Christmas. I just set it up yesterday, then put it back in the box to wrap for Christmas. It’s hidden away now until Christmas morning, but I’m getting notifications on the app today that it’s turning off and on.

    I am having the same issue. My child's 3e watch keeps turning on and off, stating it is too hot. It will not stay on long enough for me to do any of the troubleshooting. The watch itself is getting so hot. I get notifications all day long as it turns on and off.Not sure where to go from here. Extremely frustrated as my child cannot use the watch at all at this point.

    I'm having the same issue. Both of my daughters got the 3e for Christmas and only one is having this issue. She will be wearing it and it randomly restarts on it's own and I receive a notification that it's been turned on. One time she was making a call and it restarted. It will do this probably 7 or 8 times a day. I asked customer service and was told to update the watch, but it's updated and still has the issue.

    yes this is absolutely happening to our child’s watch too. It’s alerting us so many times we can’t even turn it off or on.

    Has anyone been helped or figured out how to fix this problem with the 3e turning on and off by itself? We bought our daughters two watches less that 3 weeks ago. My oldest has been constantly stating its overheating and turning on and off by itself even when its cooled down. I have done all the troubleshooting I can but can even get through basic set up to see what else I can do to fix. Customer service phone says they are busy with "holiday volume" and to call tomorrow but tomorrow never comes! Been on hold almost an hour today and on hold via live agent chat for 30 minutes. Please help!

    As anyone found a fix for this? We bought our daughters 2 watches less than 2 weeks ago and my oldest is constantly saying it’s overheating and is powering on and off by itself. I can’t even do the basic troubleshooting. Barely get to wifi connection screen before it shuts all off again. Customer service won’t even answer due to “high holiday volume” and to try tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes! Please help!

    We seem to be having the exact same problem. Watch worked well for a couple weeks but then got the same error message that was posted by Ekg9. Hit “Try Again” and ever since it has been doing the turn on/off behavior like the video that marcreichman posted above.

    I am having the same problem. We bought our kids Gabb watches for Christmas 2023. The two watches worked so-so for a few months and then started having TONS of problems. Turning off randomly. Saying they're at 0 percent battery or 30 percent battery or whatever — even though it was 100 percent battery 5 minutes earlier. And, yes, they are updated on firmware and software. And … we have one year left on a contract on two devices that are basically paperweights. My kids don't even want to wear them because they rarely work.

    I'm also having the same issue. My daughters watch will turn on, call me, then turn off. I've made sure the software was up to date and the issues continue. She received this gift for Christmas and has only been able to use it a couple of times

    We bought our daughter's watch back in August and experienced the same issue in October or November. It got the point where she couldn't use it. It would cycle on and off and the charge wouldn't hold. Immediately after charging it all night it would say it was out of battery. We did the troubleshooting of unpairing and re-pairing but then put it away for a bit. When she used it for the first time the other night someone else started texting me back (somewhat inappropriate content) and then everything on her phone was wiped off and it said I had no paired devices. So frustrating.

    Got a new watch. I finished setting it up and after barely a minute of using it it got very hot and turned off.

    There is definitely a problem with these devices

    We are having this same situation, but only since updating the software from the 3 to the 3e… is has to be related to the 3e version… never had any issues with the 3.

    We have been experiencing the same but ONLY SINCE updating my daughter’s watch from the 3 software to the 3e version. I have to believe it’s related to the 3e software, somehow.

    Same here. This happened 3 months ago and I paid for a replacement. Then the same exact issue with this one. I had a heck of a time even getting someone to talk to the first time this happened. Very frustrating 😕

    I have been having this issue for two months. I finally got through to a person today, here is the phone number 385-235-6646, that basically gets a new watch sent., for $40 There is no known fix. I was able to get a credit for data that I wasn’t able to use.

    We bought ours during the holidays and it has been turning on and off randomly as well. We just did a factory reset with customer service today because it was stuck offline. This temporarily fixed it but after 8 hours it’s doing it again.

    same is happening. My son rarely wears his watch because it has been turning off and on and over heating for awhile. I was going to get a replacement but it sounds like this is common even with the replacements. I’m about to try another company if this doesn’t get resolved soon. I cant trust that I will be able to communicate with my son while he is out at activities or playing with friends if this isn’t working.

    The screen on my son's watch won't stay on for more than a second at a time. I haven't been able to do any of the normal troubleshooting steps because it doesn't respond as expected. This really doesn't look like a user serviceable issue. There must be a better way to get the attention of support staff than complaining in a forum, right?

    Any fix for this yet? My son's watch also restarts constantly -- I can't even do a hard reset before it restarts.

    Any fix for this? I can't even do a hard reset because the watch restarts too often. It's completely unusable and has been for weeks.
