We just joined Gabb and opted for the Advanced Plan with the 4Pro phone partly because we saw that the Canon+ app is available for the Gabb phones. We have a family membership and were hoping our son could use it with his new phone. However, the Canon+ app links to a web page to log into an account. The page is blocked by the Gabb phone security which renders the app essentially useless. Is there any way to provide a workaround for this?

hi all! Gabb approved the Canon+ app I asked for which I’m so happy about — lots of great Christian content. There’s a lot available for free so it’s working great for all of that which is nice! But we have a paid subscription and I’m wondering if there’s any way to log it in? All the buttons to do so (create an account, log in, free trial, subscribe) try to launch a browser window and get a blocked message. Of course this situation (apps launching browser) is exactly why we love Gabb and have it as our kids phone! 😆 But is there any way to work around this and log it in to our paid account to unlock all the additional content? Thanks!

Thank you for your questions about Canon+. We love to hear that you are using and enjoying this app despite the inability to log into your subscription. At this time, our devices do not have the ability to log into the Canon+ app as the app itself requires internet access to do so.

Our team is aware of this issue and is actively investigating a way to work around this. We do not have a date of when we hope to resolve this. We will add an update to this thread as soon as we receive information on this.

There is a similar issue with the American Airlines app when operating it on the Gabb phone. Trying to log in takes the user to the disabled Knox browser, which means the user must navigate the app in guest mode. The American Airlines account can't even be accessed on the phone.
