SIM card discrepancy

Hi, we purchased my daughter a 4 Pro phone to replace her old Gabb phone. It came with a new number, but we wanted to keep her old number. After a lengthy chat session, the Gabb employee said the number was switched to her old number on the new device. Great, thank you. However, after disconnecting with chat, when I try to call anyone from her new phone, it immediately disconnects. Looking at her SIM card information, the SIM card settings (in her new device, which has been switched to her old number) still shows the new, discarded number. I'm pretty ignorant…any tips on how to fix this? I'd rather not wait for another hour for chat help…

Thank you for this post and for your question. It sounds like the new device was activated but the old phone number didn't successfully activate. This can easily be fixed by our amazing Customer Support team.
