Watch Contact photos

Question

Can you have contact photos show on the gabb watch 3e? I would love to have pics instead of a letter since my kindergartener can’t read quite yet. That way she can call someone if needed but actually know who she is calling. Kinda silly to not have that automatically synch with the contacts in the app

@jessicabatte,

Oh no! So sorry to hear you haven't seen the photo show on your Gabb watch. Here are some troubleshooting steps that could help:

App Update on the Gabb Watch 3:

* Connect Gabb Watch to WiFi by going to the settings app
* Open the ID app on the watch
* Tap Update App until the screen says "Apps are up to date!" You may need to tap the button multiple times. This may take several minutes to finish.
* Turn the watch off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds, select the power off icon on the watch screen, wait 15 seconds, then hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on.

System Update on the Gabb Watch 3:

* Place watch on charger. Watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating
* Open the Check for Updates app
* Tap the update button. The watch will automatically restart when the update is done.

Update your MyGabb App

* Check for updates in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Hope this helps!

I’ve done that on my app but it has never synced to either of my kids watches! 😭

Hi @jessicabatte, Yes! Contact photos are available for the contacts on the Gabb Watch 3e. If you were experiencing an error adding a contact photo on your Gabb Watch 3e, an update was dropped today that resolved this! Ensure your MyGabb app is on the most recent update in the App Store/Google Play Store before trying to update. To add a contact photo follow these steps: * Open your MyGabb app on your parent phone * Select the Gabb Watch * Select Manage * Select Contacts * Select the desired contact * Select the profile picture at the top * Choose photo * Save The contact photo will sync to your watch after a few moments.
