Gabb Go won't load

Every time my daughter pushes the Go arrow on her phone, it tries to load, then just goes back to the home screen.

I absolutely HATE the fact that factory resets erase the kids' little animals they've purchased and the coins they've earned.

Any suggestions other than that?

This happened to my son's watch a few weeks ago. I chatted with support and they had me update the software and firmware I think. I haven't had a problem with it since. Maybe try doing that!

I am having the same issue with my son’s Gabb3, but the Gabb go app loads fine in my daughter’s watch. My son’s watch is up to date for firmware and apps.

Same! My daughter is really frustrated with this watch. She has worked hard doing her chores for the coins. She has earned a couple animals and looks forward to taking care of them. This issue has only affected one of my children's watches which makes it worse. It's either the steps do not count or gabb go doesn't work. Everything is up to date based on the troubleshooting articles and this has been going on for more than a week.

Hi everyone,

So sorry to hear that the Gabb Go app would not launch for you. We identified an issue that was preventing some watches from being able to launch the app. We've rolled out a fix for it. To receive it, update your watch:

Step 1 - perform a system update

Connect your watch to WiFi:

Place your Watch on its charger. Your Watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating.
Open the Check for Updates app and tap the Updatebutton. The watch will automatically restart when finished:

Step 2 - update apps

Connect Watch to WiFi
Open the ID app on your Watch and select Update Apps. Your Watch will restart:

We are still having trouble with this and there are no updates currently available, we did the last one. The app opens and you can see the 2 icons at the top, screen is black, and then returns to home page.

I am having this issue as well for one of my son’s watches. I have tried the updates and it has not resolved the issue. Please assist!

We recently upgraded our child’s watch and things went smoothly at first, but we are also now experiencing this issue. We have applied both updates as directed above but our child still cannot access the GabbGo function. Please advise as this seems to be a known issue. We did not have any problems with the previous version of the watch which we used for nearly two years.

@Mhart did you do any troubleshooting with support? They helped me get mine working again. That or unpairing and pairing back.

Great question! Live-Chat and Call-In to our Customer Support are the quickest ways to get in contact with an agent. Our Customer Support team does have an email option available through support@gabb.com but ask that you give 48 hours for a response. Messages can also be delivered outside of support hours to our Live Customer Support team who troubleshoots through direct messages on Facebook and Instagram. They will respond to your message as soon as hours resume.

my son’s watch says it’s updated and apps are updated but he’s experiencing the same issues as above. Are there other troubleshooting suggestions to get his apps working again?

this is so frustrating. It’s happening with my daughters watch and not my sons. She is so upset. It was working and now it’s not. And gabb isn’t open until Monday. And we’re leaving on a trip tomorrow. I tried the updates from a post above and it’s still not working.

Happening for my sons watch as well. All updates are up to date for software and firmware.

Same problem here. App just crashes, and all apps and watch software is up to date.
