Has anyone else been unable to factory reset their Gabb Watch 3?

We've been having issues with our Gabb Watch 3 after having it for two months — my daughter was showing up as offline on my app, and she could not text. After trying everything else, I was told to do a factory reset. However, when I try to do that, the screen is frozen — I can't push the check to do the reset or the x to cancel. To get out of the screen, then, I use the side button, which leaves me back where I started and unable to factory reset the watch.

Is there any other way to do a factory reset? The customer service rep wanted pictures of the watch to check for damage (there is none; it's in pristine condition) and said he'd be in touch via email, but I'm not holding my breath.

    So sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced on your Gabb Watch. It's great to hear that you reached out to our Customer Support to troubleshoot the error with the GPS location and texting. These troubleshooting steps are a great way to start resolving these errors:

    1. Customer Support agent will preform a Network Reset:
      1. Contact Customer Support by Live Chat on www.gabb.com, or by phone at 385.235.6646 Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m-6:30 p.m., MT or Saturday from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. MT
    2. Power cycle reset to the Gabb Watch 3:
      1. Hold the power button down for 4 seconds > Select the power off icon on the watch screen > Wait 15 seconds > Hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on
    3. Lastly, unpair from the Gabb Watch 3:
      1. MyGabb app > Devices > Profile > Remove Device > Pair back to the Watch to improve the connection between the parent MyGabb App and the Watch.

    Because your device did not respond to the troubleshooting steps, our Customer Support asked for photos of your device to ensure it qualified to be replaced through the Manufacture Warranty. Thank you for continuing to work with them through email to get this resolved!
