Gabb Watch 3 Kerboard won’t stay open
We’ve only had this watch for a couple months and the last few days my daughter has complained about the keyboard not letting her type. It will open for a moment then close again and then without prompting open and close a few more times. I’ve reset the watch, made sure all apps and system were up to date but nothing seems to fix it.

Hello @Trippy,
Sorry to hear that you're experiencing some trouble with the keyboard on your Gabb Watch 3. Here are some troubleshooting steps that can help with this:
- Power cycle reset to the Gabb Watch 3:
- Hold the power button down for 4 seconds > Select the power off icon on the watch screen > Wait 15 seconds > Hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on
- Unpair from the Gabb Watch 3:
- MyGabb app > Devices > Profile > Remove Device > Pair back to the Watch
Another great troubleshooting step to try is ensuring the Software and Firmware are up to date on the device:
- App Update on Gabb Watch 3:
- Connect Gabb Watch to WiFi by going to the settings app
- Open the
ID
app on the watch - Tap
Update Apps
until the screen says "Apps are up to date!" You may need to tap the button multiple times. This may take several minutes to finish. - Turn the watch completely off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds, select the power off icon on the watch screen, wait 15 seconds, then hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on.
- System Update on Gabb Watch 3:
- Connect to WiFi
- Place watch on charger. Watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating
- Open the Check for Updates app (shown below)
- Tap the
update
button. The watch will automatically restart when the update is done.
Hope this helps!

The keyboard on my son’s watch no longer opens when he is trying to text, or when I am trying to log him into his Gabb ID. Anyone else had an issue with this and found a way to fix it? I’ve reset the watch, checked for updates, turned off and on, and unpaired and re-paired it as well. Any ideas?

Had the same issue, after troubleshooting, the only solution was a full reset. Which means setting up contacts and all the fun stuff again...
