Cancelled phone
Why do I have a bill coming up for next month, after I already canceled and deactivated the device?

Our oldest grew out of Gabb and we had a gap before getting our younger child a Gabb Watch. When we cancelled, we had an invoice/bill the month after. Turns out it was proration. Since normally it happens in the middle of a billing cycle, if you don't have any more phone lines with them it takes a month or month and a half for the billing to catch up. Found more information on it in their help center:
Looks like they have prorates in and prorates out to take care of any days of service used/unused. So if you canceled and have no more active lines with them, it might take another full billing cycle to show your proration. If you don't have any active lines and 3 months later you're still getting a monthly invoice I think you should call their billing department.1
