Just got the Gabb4 phone

I have tested incoming calls from my google voice number and they do not go through since it is not an approved contact, how do I restrict the numbers being called out? I was able to call my google voice number from my daughters gabb 4 phone?

Other than that so far so good, however I do like that it restricts who can call it, but the only problem is those calls are allowed to leave a voicemail. Bullying can still happen on voicemail so we want to remove voicemail access from unapproved contacts, or routed to the gabb parent messager app. This needs to be treated like a corporate spam filter. Let the parent review the message and if it is all good release it or report it to the proper authorities if something bad is said on the voicemail.

    Contact Management in the Messenger Parent App is a great resource! Parents are able to manage an approved contact list from the Gabb Messenger Parent app to restrict your child from contacting phone numbers not on the approved contacts list.

    It's great to hear you were able to test this features ability to restrict calls to your Gabb Phone 4 made by unapproved contacts. It is not normal behavior that the phone is able to complete a call to a number that is not an approved contact when this setting is enabled. If the user dials and calls an unapproved number, the call will automatically disconnect.

    Here is are some troubleshooting steps to help get this feature working properly:

    1. Sync the Gabb Messenger App:
      1. Open Gabb Messenger on the Gabb Phone 4
      2. Navigate to the Settings tab
      3. Select Troubleshooting > Sync Settings
      4. Wait until it confirms the Settings have synchronized successfully
    2. Sync the Dialer App:
      1. Make sure your Gabb device is connected to WiFi or has data service
      2. Ensure you are signed in with your Gabb ID
      3. The Dialer app does not have a specific 'Sync Settings' button. However, ensuring your device is connected to WiFi and signed in to your Gabb ID will automatically keep the Dialer app updated with the latest settings.
    3. Update All Apps:
      1. Open the Gabb ID app
      2. Select "Update Apps" to ensure you have the latest versions of all apps.
