Gabb Phone 4 Pro Gabb ID Glitch

Today for no reason at all my Gabb Phone 4 Pro deleted all my contacts and when someone tried to call me it came up as unknown number.

My texts in Gabb Messenger also all got moved to the Request folder.

I got on Gabb chat and they were helpful.

I had to log out of the My Gabb ID and then back in again to restore it. It turns out that my phone has not backed up for a month now so luckily the back up was recent enough.

My contacts have been restored but not all the pictures I tied to contacts.

How do prevent this from happening again?

Here are some troubleshooting steps to help prevent this happening again:

1. Update Firmware and Software on the Gabb Phone 4 Pro:
   1. Navigate to the Knox E Fota app and check for updates
   2. Google Play Store app and tap the circle in the top right > Manage Apps and Devices > The second line should say "All apps up to date" or "Download/install updates."
2. Resets in Settings on Gabb Phone 4 Pro:
   1. Open Settings App -> System -> Reset Options -> Reset App Preferences -> Reset Apps
3. Update Apps:
   1. Open the Google Play Store app.
   2. Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner of the Play Store.
   3. Select “My apps & games” from the menu.
   4. In the “Updates” tab, you will see a list of apps that have available updates.
   5. If there are updates, you can either tap “Update All” to update all apps at once or tap “Update” next to each individual app you want to update.
      Automatic Updates (Optional):
   6. You can also set your apps to update automatically.
   7. Go to the Play Store menu, tap on “Settings,” then “Auto-update apps.”
   8. Select “Over Wi-Fi only” to ensure updates don’t consume your mobile data, or choose your preferred option.
