How do I turn OFF the wifi and keep it off? For some reason the wifi keeps turning on after I turn it off. I have tried all the basic ways to turn it off through all the settings. It must be a software issue or an app that I cannot control. Please help, thanks!

    Hi @Garrett,

Good question! Our software does not interfere with the status of the WiFi being toggled on or off. To toggle off the WiFi, please follow these steps:

    1. Open Settings
    2. Select WiFi
    3. Select Network & Internet
    4. Toggle off WiFi

If you wish to have the device not connected to WiFi when it is toggled on, you can select "Forget Network" in the WiFi Settings. Our phones do not have the ability to permanently disable WiFi as it would interfere with the devices ability to receive critical software updates.

    Hope this information helps!

I have toggled WIFI to the OFF position but Gabb automatically keeps turning it back on. How to permanently disable wifi or keep the WIFI toggled OFF.

Unfortunately the Gabb phone continues to toggle the WIFI setting to ON, even if I do forget this network. It still toggles on and is simply searching for other networks. Please let me know how to fix this~

    Hi @gkcaliendo,

Apologies for any frustration this has caused. As mentioned above, our phones do not have the ability to permanently disable WiFi as it will interfere with the devices ability to receive critical software updates. At this time, an ability to permanently disable WiFi is not in the works. This feedback will be given to our team for a potential future update.

    Thank you.

I also would SERIOUSLY like to be able to toggle off wifi and have it stay off. Not permanently, but until I want it on. It's a drain on my battery and "available wifi" is just another notification that i TRULY don't want. Speaking of notifications, I also want control over being able to turn them off, even if it's in the gabb app on the parent phone. I don't understand people who have constantly unread notifications, and it's stressful to my adhd mind to have a full list of notifications every single time I touch my phone. I had to delete a weather app, to keep it from notifying my every 30 seconds, but other apps are ones I use and just don't want constant notifications.
