Low battery warning

We have had problems with the app giving us low battery warnings after the watch has already died and the GPS shows kids last location as somewhere other than where it is physically. Here is an idea…let’s introduce a low battery warning on the phone or watch. Starting at 20% it beeps once every 5 minutes and at 10% the beep gets louder every 3 minutes. I would buy my kids an extra charger or battery pack for their backpacks so they can charge their device while being mobile. This is a problem that parents who are trying to get their kids to be responsible with expensive devices can solve if they know where the noise is coming from.

    Hello @Dadofsomeawesomekids,

Thank you for this feedback! We love receiving feature ideas to help improve our product. Sorry to hear you have experienced some trouble with the Low Battery notifications. Our team recently released an update on 9/12 that helps resolve the Low Battery notifications. Please ensure you are on the most recent update by following these steps:

    • App Update on the Gabb Watch 3:
      • Connect Gabb Watch to WiFi by going to the settings app
      • Open the ID app on the watch
      • Tap Update App until the screen says "Apps are up to date!" You may need to tap the button multiple times.
      • This may take several minutes to finish.
      • Turn the watch off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds, select the power off icon on the watch screen, wait 15 seconds, then hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on.
    • System Update on the Gabb Watch 3:
      • Place watch on charger. Watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating
      • Open the Check for Updates app
      • Tap the update button. The watch will automatically restart when the update is done.

    Hope these steps help!
