How can I view flagged images?
I’m getting the notifications saying that a message has been “flagged” and when I look it says that it was a picture message and it’s blurred out. How can I unblur it on the parent end so I can see what’s being sent??

Hi @Mkmrmama,
Thank you for this post and your question. For the safety of everyone involved, the blurred version of any flagged photo is only available to parents. At this time, there is not a setting to change to see the full photo.

Gabb Product Team,
You didn't answer the question. He said he, as a parent, cannot see the blurred images. I am having the same issue. My daughter received a text from someone where there were images. I, as the parent, was notified, but the images were blurred just as the parent above stated and illustrated. Why are the images blurred for me as the parent and how do I set it up so that I can see the images and make a decision, to either report it as being incorrect or know what sort of images my daughter is being sent? I need an answer to this ASAP.

Hi @cardinal9918,
Thank you for your question. We'd be happy to further clarify. The blurred version of the flagged photo is the only available version. The photo is not available un-blurred for the safety of everyone involved to eliminate the viewing of any and all explicit photos. Thank you for your understanding and desire to keep all Gabb users safe.

I, as the parent, need to make the determination of how to handle this situation; Gabb is not the parent and cannot choose how to handle this. I need to see the image in order to determine if legal action is required, if a conversation with parents, or a conversation with the sender alone, or if the image is incorrectly flagged! There are too many highly sensitive possible situations to leave it up to Gabb’s AI. I appreciate the parental controls Gabb offers but I am able to choose the filters on all of them except THIS. This is not your decision to make. Give the option to let parents choose if they want to view the full or a blurred image.
