Update to Gabb Messenger for parents on Android: Mange your child's approved contacts
Hi all,
We're excited to announce that parents using the Gabb Messenger app on Android can now manage an approved contact list for their child's Gabb phone. While this feature has been available on iOS, our newest update to Gabb Messenger in the Google Play Store allows parents to manage their child's phone contacts, manage their child's ability to delete text messages, get notified of potentially harmful flagged messages/content, and more. Please note, if your child has a Gabb Phone or Gabb Phone Plus, the approved contacts list will only apply to texting—not phone calls. Contact management via Gabb Messenger for parents applies to texts and calls on the Gabb Phone 4, Gabb Phone 3 Pro, and Gabb Phone 4 Pro.

Not true. I have Gabb Phone 4 and approved contracts do not control phone calls at all.

I just purchased a Gabb phone and I am reading on Google Play Store that the Gabb apps are not working on Android devices. The reviews are terrible. Has this been fixed recently?

I'm having nothing but issues with this thing so far. Grrrrrr

We are not able to see contacts under parental control. We have waited 24 hours and still no contacts. This is very frustrating! The App is not workimg as advertised. Also why do you need two Apps to monitor your child?
The text monitoring feature is very unhelpful as it only has a log of acual phone numbers, not contact names. Also you CANNOT read the text messages on the App (misleading on the website).
So far this product has been more frustrating than hepful. We may choose to use another service.

We also are having nothing but issues. We chose this device and service for our 13 y/o and the contacts are not showing on the messenger app…thus she can't text or call unless we manually add them. Also not sure how to see messages, not intuitive! Very disappointed so far! 😫
