Focus mode not turning off, despite swicth active" to off

I initially set up a 3 hour Quiet Time (focus and silent mode on a Gabb Watch 3) for one of my sons' watch. We decided a couple weeks later that it wasn't necessary, so wanted to turn it off. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, it's still active from the watch. In the app, if I uncheck the boxes, slide the activty function to off, etc., it's still active, and the save function is always grayed out. I've run all updates, even removed the device and resynched, yet that initial Quiet Time is showing as active on the watch. Even when I click on Add Quiet Time, the initial setting are still there. This has been going for weeks. How do I permanently delete a Quiet Time?

    Hi @Wolfe,

    Sorry to hear you're having some trouble with the Quiet Time on your Gabb Watch 3. Thank you for giving the troubleshooting steps you have done. Here are the steps to delete a Quiet Time schedule in the MyGabb app:

    1. Open your MyGabb app on the parent phone
    2. Select "Profile" of the device you are working with
    3. Select "Edit" (looks like a pad and pencil)
    4. Scroll to the bottom
    5. Select "delete"
    6. Select "delete quiet time"

    If the Quiet Time does not immediately delete off the watch, power the device off for 30 seconds and back on. This will help the watch recognize the command from the app.

    Hi, Reagan.

    I appreciate the response! Unfortunately, when I click on the edit function, the page that opens is only fields for first name, last name, DOB, and gender. There is nothing else on this screen.

    Hello, @Wolfe!

    Thank you for your response. Sorry for the confusion. I'd be happy to give you further troubleshooting for this. In step 3 from above, there are two different Edit buttons that can be selected. You're going to want to select the button next to the Quiet Time schedule. See photo below.

    The edit button next to the name of the Gabb Watch will take you into the settings of the child's profile.

    I do not even have a focus mode or quiet mode on. I completely deleted it 5 months ago in the start of summer. And her watch STILL shows focus mode on. It will not let her contact anyone except for me ALL DAY LONG. she is so frustrated with it. I am so frustrated with it.

    Sorry to hear about the frustration with your Gabb Watch 3. Thank you for including the photo showing that no Quiet Time is added to your device. The sync between the MyGabb app and the watch could need troubleshooting as it still recognizing the Quite Time after it being deleted. Please follow these steps:

    Update Software on Gabb Watch 3:

    • Connect Gabb Watch to WiFi by going to the settings app
    • Open the ID app on the watch
    • Tap Update App until the screen says "Apps are up to date!" You may need to tap the button multiple times.
    • This may take several minutes to finish.
    • Turn the watch off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds, select the power off icon on the watch screen, wait 15 seconds, then hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on.

    Update Firmware on Gabb Watch 3:

    • Place watch on charger. Watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating
    • Open the Check for Updates app
    • Tap the update button. The watch will automatically restart when the update is done.

    Soft Reset on Gabb Watch 3:

    • Hold the power button down for 4 seconds
    • Select the power off icon on the watch screen
    • Wait 15 seconds
    • Hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on
    • Update MyGabb App:
      • Delete and Re-Install the MyGabb app from the parent phone
      • Ensure you log into the MyGabb app with the primary account holder username and password

    If you do not see a change after following the above troubleshooting steps, the next steps will involve unpairing and pairing back to the Gabb Watch.

    Hard Reset on Gabb Watch 3:

    • On the MyGabb App: Unpair the watch
      • Select the "Devices" tab
      • Select "Profile" on the watch you need to unpair
      • Scroll to the bottom of the profile and select "Remove Device"
      • Select "Remove and Reset"
    • On the Watch: Factory Reset the watch
      • Place the watch on the charger
      • Press the back button (top right button) 10 times fast
      • Select the checkmark on the watch
      • The watch will power off, factory reset, then power back on when it’s finished
      • Pair back to the watch
