Fitbit app login
Tryingto have my son access Fitbit but cannot seem to sign in to his account. The Gabb phone does not allow sign in through Google (security comes with the phone to not allow) - and Fitbit does not allow you to sign in with your Google email (except through the sign in via Google option - which when you click it does not work).
Fitbit no longer allows access by non-gmail accounts so different email address is not even an option.
Anyone else found a way around this?

The Fitbit app requires my daughter to login with her Google account, which doesn't allow it due to a restricted profile on the Gabb phone. How can I get her signed into her Fitbit account to sync her watch?

I'm setting up my daughter's phone. We downloaded the fitbit app for her watch, but fitbit is going to sign-in with Google account only. When I open the app and click on "sign in with Google" I get a message that "Restricted profiles cannot add accounts." Is signing into Google linked accounts not possible?

Thank you for your post and comments about your experiences with the Fitbit app on your Gabb Phones. We apologize for any trouble or concern you’ve had with this third-party app. We’d love to give further information into this situation to help everyone better understand.
The Fitbit app is one of our parent approved third-party apps in our Gabb App Store. When this app was tested and approved through our reviewing criteria, the user was able to login to their profile with their username and password. After the app had already been approved by our team and added to the App Store, Fitbit released an update that implemented the requirement to sign-in with Google.
Due to this update, the “Sign-in with Fitbit” option will only work for Legacy Fitbit customers who have accounts that were created prior to 2021. We keep the Fitbit app in our Gabb App Store for those users. Unfortunately, those who are not a Legacy Fitbit customer, will not be able to login to this app as our devices are unable to accommodate Google logins.
