Flagged messages

I’m curious how Gabb flags photos and how they decide what is inappropriate. Literally a normal photo of my child’s friend/s comes through with nothing wrong in it and it’s flagged as porn 🤦🏼‍♀️. How do we know when it’s actually catching something bad when it can’t decide make out the difference in a normal photo of someone ?

first let me say that I love the feature on video calling that shut the call down as soon as nudity is detected. This has happened with my son and his friend, both being boys and having their T-shirts off talking on the phone. It’s a nuisance and makes him irritated, but I absolutely love it! Lol

Now what I do not appreciate is when a flagged text photo is sent it alerts me, but only shows a blurred image and who it is from on my end. It also says explicit images are not shared with my son‘s phone, but he gets the text message that is flagged and mine is blurred, his is not. Thankfully, these have only been images. His buddy has sent him of hogs or deer he has killed. So for some reason it thinks the animals are nudity. But what a scary is if if it were real nudity, he would get the picture and I would get an alert that is blurred out and I have no idea what it is until I ask him. I feel that this feature should be blurred out for the child not the parent!!

Another issue I am having is that he can delete photos. I do not want him being allowed to delete photos as I check his phone every night.

While I’m at it, the location services take 5-10 minutes to refresh for me. Is that an issue with anyone else??

I sent my son photos of the two of us, and Gabb marked them as porn. We were fully dressed and just hanging out. We can't even override the flag either.
