Safe zone not notifying

I just got the new Gab3 watch yesterday. I uploaded a bunch of contacts, set up safe zones, etc. I’m wearing it now walking around to see if things work the way it’s intended. I am clearly out of the safe zone and I have not yet received a notification on my personal cell phone.. can someone help?

    Hello @Nancy,

    Sorry for any trouble this has caused with the Safe Zone notifications not alerting your parent phone. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help get this important feature working properly:

    1. Delete and Re-Add Safe Zones:
      1. You can find the steps to manage Safe Zones here!
    2. Update Software on Watch:
      1. Connect Gabb Watch to WiFi by going to the settings app
      2. Open theIDapp on the watch
      3. Tap Update Appsuntil the screen says "Apps are up to date!" You may need to tap the button multiple times. This may take several minutes to finish.
      4. Turn the watch completely off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds, select the power off icon on the watch screen, wait 15 seconds, then hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on.
    3. Update the Firmware on your Watch:
      1. Connect to Wi-Fi.
      2. Place watch on charger. The watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating.
      3. Open the Check for Updates app (shown below).
    4. Unpair and Pair back to the Watch:
      1. MyGabb app > Devices > Profile > Remove Device > Pair back to the Watch. This will improve the connection between the parent MyGabb App and the Watch.
