My parent app started glitching in the last two weeks. It got to the point that it was missing lots of texts that should have been flagged and making me login in with a new code every time I wanted to use it. Then it started crashing and not letting me in at all two days ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice and it continues to crash. My phone told me at the last attempt that there is a bug in the app and to try again when the bug has been fixed.
Is anyone aware of the bug and attempting to fix it? When can I get the app working on my phone again? Thanks for your help!

I am having the same issues! I notice I'm not getting alerts for flagged texts, open the Parent app only to find out that I've been logged out. Re-log in, takes some time to sync, but when it does I see A) all old flagged texts plus new ones or B) no flagged texts at all - even ones I'd seen previously, that were not 60 days old. I still won't get routine updates, realize I haven't, and repeat this. I will also get notified of a flagged text, and when I open the app, I see B).
Now, I can't even log into the app. I have reinstalled multiple times. Cleared the cache. Restarted my phone. It sends me the code to verify, and by the time the code arrives, the app force quits itself, and I repeat the process.
I am super frustrated with Gabb. My friends can track their kids in real time on GPS - I have delays of 20+ min, and they can see all their kids texts through other 3rd party apps.

My gabb parent messenger app was doing the same thing where I would log in with my phone number, it would send me the code but immediately would just shut down. I attached a screenshot of the error message that I got. I'm so frustrated. I haven't been able to log in in weeks to be alerted of any flagged texts. Customer service was not helpful, she had me on the phone for over an hour asking me the same questions, just to tell me that it's a known issue and they're working on it. This was a couple weeks ago. Prior it was saying no account found with my phone number. Can someone give any helpful insight or resolution?

My gabb parents app keeps crashing!

the app keeps crashing and i am no longer able to log in at all. everytime i try it kicks me back out. i have deleted and reinstalled app and reset my phone.

Having the same issue. Did all the troubleshooting tips above and still happening. Need this feature to work ASAP. Please help.

I'm trying to understand how to use the parent controls for the contacts on my child's Gabb phone. I was told by the support chat line that I need to download the Gabb Messenger Parent App from the play store. When I search the Play Store I only see one Gabb messenger app - it doesn't indicate whether it's for the child or for the parent. Am I missing something? Is there a different app that I'm supposed to download? When I download the one app I find, it wants me to put in my phone number and then it sends me a verification code but I'm never able to enter the verification code & login to the app. If I can't log into the app, then I can't get to the controls for the contacts management. I think I need to change it from Child's controlled to parent controlled or something like that.. anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I just received two new gabb phones and was trying to set up messages. I downloaded the Gabb parent messages app on my Samsung phone, but it crashes right after I put in my phone a number. I want to set controls for text messaging. There are no updates available for the app and I've restarted both phones. Nothing works.

Did everything listed above, including making sure account info was the same and up to date. Nothing. Are you going to release a fix for this? My phone says its a developer problem.

Just want to chime in to the chorus here. Additionally I've noticed that my son's phone keeps sending me notifications that he's left the house or come back into the house , even when he's staying put and not even touching it!
Very frustrating. I'm ready to cancel the phone service…. Our watch 2 is the only item that's been reliable!

Same issue. Just received the phone and am trying to set it up, but the app keeps crashing. Everything directs me to the app but the app won’t work. According to the previous comments, this issue has been going on for a while. If it’s not fixed promptly I’m not sure why I’ve paid for a phone that I can’t set up and use.

My parent app has being doing the same thing for over a month. Gabb is no help. Everything they tried is not working. This is the entire reason I got this phone and to not have this option is ridiculous
