Hi Gabb Team,
I’m a parent using the Gabb Phone for my child, and I really appreciate having GPS location tracking through the MyGabb app. However, I’ve run into a major limitation. The “Guardian Contact” feature that allows other trusted adults (like the other parent) to view location is only available for the Gabb Watch, not the Gabb Phone.
This is a real pain point for co-parenting families. Right now, the only workaround is to share the same account login, which gives both parties full parental control access, not ideal or secure.
It would also be really helpful for other parents if you were more transparent about this limitation up front. I spent several hours troubleshooting before I finally found confirmation that the function is not available for the phone. Being clearer about this in your product descriptions or setup guides would alleviate a lot of frustration, I’m sure.
Is there any plan to extend the Guardian Contact feature to Gabb Phones in the near future? This would be a huge help for parents who need to share location access without sharing full control over the device.
Thanks in advance for any insight!
Jozy
