Quiet Times Not Working
I have set up quiet times for all 4 of my kids then my kid gets a text during church when it was set to quiet time. I know I’m not missing a step in setting it up it’s just not syncing the quiet time with their watches. It worked well the first day (yesterday) now it doesn’t want to do it.

Sorry for any trouble or frustration this error with the Quite Time feature has caused. Quiet Time is a feature that allows you to silence notifications on your child’s Gabb Watch 3 at specified times during the day, such as during school or at bedtime. *Note that texts and calls from the Primary contacts will deliver to the Gabb Watch 3 while on a scheduled Quiet Time.
Here are some troubleshooting steps to follow to help:
- Ensure your MyGabb app is on the most recent update:
- You can check for updates in the
Apple Store
orGoogle Play Store
on your parent phone
- You can check for updates in the
- Delete and Add a new Quiet Time schedule:
- Slightly adjust start and end time
- Schedule a Quiet Time Steps
- Force Update All Apps on the Gabb Watch 3:
- Navigate to
Settings
- Long press on the
"ID"
button - Select the blue
checkmark
- Installation may take a while to start, leave the device on the charger and connected to Wi-Fi
- Navigate to
- Update Software on the Gabb Watch 3:
- Connect Gabb Watch to WiFi by going to the settings app
- Open the
ID
app on the watch - Tap
Update App
until the screen says "Apps are up to date!" You may need to tap the button multiple times. This may take several minutes to finish. - Turn the watch off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds, select the power off icon on the watch screen, wait 15 seconds, then hold the power button for another 4 seconds to turn the watch back on.
- Update the Firmware on the Gabb Watch 3:
- Place watch on charger. Watch must be charged to at least 30% before updating
- Open the Check for Updates app (shown below)
- Tap the
update
button. The watch will automatically restart when the update is done.
If you are experiencing continual trouble with the Quiet Time feature after following the steps above, the last step involves doing a factory reset. Steps shown below:
- Hard reset (Factory Reset) on the Gabb Watch 3
- On the MyGabb App: Unpair the watch
- Select the
"Devices"
tab - Select
"Profile"
on the watch you need to unpair - Scroll to the bottom of the profile and select
"Remove Device"
- Select
"Remove and Reset"
- On the Watch: Factory Reset the watch
- Place the watch on the charger
- Press the back button (top right button)
10 times fast
- Select the
checkmark
on the watch - The watch will power off, factory reset, then power back on when it’s finished
- Pair back to the watch

Any other solutions? I've tried all the above and it still won't work. I don't feel like I can trust that the "quiet time" will actually work during school.
