Why does it say in our plan that text and calls are unlimited but Gabb Support sent us a message that our limit on messages is over and now we can’t send messages?

    Hello @VVV,

    We'd be happy to help clarify the email you received. All our Gabb Phones and Gabb Watches have unlimited call and text. Each Gabb Phone has an allotted amount off GB of data each month for app usage off is Wi-Fi. This is separate from the unlimited talk and text.

    When a line has used up the allotted GB of data for the month, the phone is "slowed". What does "slowed" mean? Data slowing means that your line has exceeded its allocated amount of data available. Services like off Wi-Fi music streaming and group/image texting will be significantly reduced. 

    Non data services like sending an SMS (text message), making a phone call, using Gabb Music on Wi-Fi etc will NOT be impacted! If you are unable to make or receive calls, please fill out the form in the email you received so we can look into this for you.

    If you're noticing that your child is getting data slowed more often than you'd like and you want to add more data to their line, you may do so by upgrading their phone plan. Here's how.

    To add more data to your Gabb line, using a computer:

    1. Log in at gabb.com/account
    2. Select "Device/Usage"
    3. Click "View Details" on the line you'd like to add more data to.
    4. Select "Manage Plan".
    5. 5. Upgrade the plan to an "Advanced Plan". This plan comes standard with 3GB of data a month. On the Advanced Plan you may also choose 5GB or 10GB a month.
    6. Once complete, restart the Gabb device. Your new plan should be reflected on your device within 24 hours.
