Can't pair gabb Phone4 Pro to MyGabb - "Unauthorized"

When I try to pair my child's phone to the gabb app on my phone I get a message that says "unauthorized" when I scan the code. I called support a week ago and they said they would add it to a bug list to get fixed. I still can't get it working and when I contact support again, they say they have no new information, and they can't tell me when it will get fixed. I want to have it set up for my child for Christmas. Please help.

    So I’ve gotten out of the loop mentioned above after calling Gabb several times…only now my parent Gabb app is saying “unauthorized” when I try to pair my phone to my daughter’s. I have been on at least 3-4 different phone conversations any this and each time someone says “Gabb has no solution for this at this time and we are working on the problem.” Then, last week, I was put on an expedited calling list to resolve this problem and I had to initiate calling Gabb about this yesterday.

    It’s already hard enough to get my daughter to be somewhat happy about this Gabb purchase because it’s not an iPhone, and the one selling point this had was the App Store…that won’t even work and my daughter isn’t buying in. And then I was told because of my trouble I’d get 1 month of free service (which I had to ask for) and I’m already supposed to get that one month for free for activating this phone! So they’re “giving” me a month of free service that I already have.

    Gabb, please help!!!

    downloaded my gabb app on my iPhone but when I scan my child’s QR code to pair it just says Not Authorized. Went into child’s phone and synced settings under Gabb messenger settings. Didn’t make difference.

    Thank you for your posts to help bring awareness to this error that you are receiving when scanning the QR code to pair to your Gabb Phone 4 Pros. So sorry for any trouble or frustration this has caused you.

    Our team has put out an update that can help resolve this. Please follow these steps on your parent phone to troubleshoot:

    1. Log out of your MyGabb app.
    2. Close the app.
    3. Open and log back into the app.
    4. Scan the QR code again to pair.

    If you continue to experience this error after following these steps, please contact Customer Support by Live-Chat through www.gabb.com, or by phone call at 385.235.6646 Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m-6:30 p.m., MT or Saturday from 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. MT.     Gabb Support,
    I'm also experiencing the "unauthorized" error message upon scanning the QR code from the parent device, not allowing me to pair my child's Gabb phone pro 4 on the parent MyGabb app. I tried calling the support line, but they are flooded with calls and gave an estimated three hour wait time before hanging up on me. I've followed the steps above with no luck. Please advise. Thank you, Alex
