Adding/Deleting Contacts in Messenger

I have chatted with support and was advised to create a new Gabb id. I did that and it still pulled in the prior contact list with the contacts I need to remove. Doesn’t matter if I delete it on the Gabb device or my device they just keep coming back. Does anyone know how to remove contacts on these phones??

I need to remove several contacts from my child’s phone but every time I delete them they come back. I have tried from my phone as well as the child’s phone. I contacted support and was told I would have to delete and create a new Gabbid which I did but the contacts are still there. Such a simple task

I'm trying to add a parent-managed contact to my son's Gabb Pro4 phone, and every time I press the button to "Add Contact," I get an error message that says "Something went wrong, please try again [500]. It is allowing me to add the same contact name with a made-up phone number, but when I go to add the correct phone number, I get the error. It will let me add it as a child-approved contact through my son's phone, but I want it parent-managed. It's getting a little frustrating, to say the least. I've tried syncing, I've doublechecked wi-fi, doublechecked that he and I are both logged in on our phones…nothing helps. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I haven’t been able to remove contacts either and it doesn’t have the option to change a phone number once saved. I reversed 2 numbers on a contact and I went to fix it and I can’t. I added the corrected number as a new contact but now she has 2 of the same person with almost identical numbers and I have no way of removing the wrong one.

the best I was able to finally do was to completely wipe the phone and start over. But adding/deleting or editing contacts is such a basic function I’m confused why they can’t fix it. The issue is that the contacts are backed up on the cloud so every change you make is wiped away by the cloud version. And there is no way to remove the cloud backup or select what gets backed up.

Last week my son’s contact list vanished except for me and two others, so he was only able to text/call us 3. After a day of fiddling around with it, they all showed up in his phone again, and I then had to reapprove them from my app. Yesterday he told me he hadn’t been able to call anyone except the 3 that stayed last time, but he can text everyone. The full list shows in both of our phones, but the call button in the Phone app is grayed out. He can click the call button from the Contacts app and it looks like it’s going to ring, but then it gives a visual message that it’s disconnected and hangs up. As I was typing this, it started working again. Part of having this phone is so he can call in an emergency, but if it’s not working when he really needs it, that’s unacceptable.

Earlier this week I tried to add a contact for my son via the messenger app on my phone and when I tried to bring up the contacts section it would just spin. Gave up. Tried later in the day and it still spun for a couple of minutes but finally came up where I could add the contact. The next day not only is the new contact not there but all but two of his existing contacts are now showing as not approved. I have added them back as approved on my phone but they are still showing as not approved on my son's phone an hour or so later. I have rebooted his phone and sign out/in of Gabb ID on his phone. Any other suggestions?
