Passcode lock for watch

My daughter pointed out that her new watch 3e has no passcode, so anyone who can access the watch could read her messages, or send messages and call contacts. This seems like a real privacy problem. Her school requires kids to keep devices in their backpacks so they are not a distraction, and a nosy classmate could certainly cause all kinds of problems if they got access to the watch.
