Samsung Security Patch Update (August 2024)
I have noticed on my phone that my security patch is from April 2024. There is no way to force an update as developers have grayed out that option. Can you please check with them as I am sure even for Galaxy A series phones, this device should at least have a newer security patch than just April. I've tried doing as much research as possible and am fairly certain its compatible with this update.

Our team personally manages the Samsung released updates to our Gabb Phones to ensure the devices do not get exposed to potential security risks. This is normal behavior to be just a few months behind.

I asked this before, but I have been doing tons of research with the Samsung A15 5G. How come we never get any Updates (Security Patch). I am fairly sure the Gabb 4 Pro, which is Samsung, should be having monthly Security Patch Updates. I had my first 4 Pro which showed April 2024, I got a replacement which showed May 2024, So I am pretty certain we should be seeing July, August, September, October & November. I have a serious question, Can the developers ungrey the Software Updates? I've tried to backdoor every app into the browser and your software will not allow that at all…so can we manually update our phones now? i know we are missing many updates. If you had a Samsung A15 5G without the Knox restrictions, it would show an update monthly because my father has the exact same phone. I am fairly frustrated with the lack of updates; I know were trying to be safe but updating the device should NOT bring you to a browser since all URL's are blocked!!!

There are security updates coming for Gabb Phone 4 Pro devices. Please be aware that these do not happen monthly necessarily. The Gabb Phone 4 Pro is on a quarterly update schedule with the manufacturer (Samsung). When Samsung releases updates like this, there is a process where they must be tested and then distributed by the carrier. Since Gabb is a closed ecosystem to keep kids safe, these types of updates from Samsung are not as critical as they would be for a "regular" Samsung A15. We monitor these types of security releases and anytime a critical update is released that helps our users stay safe, we distribute those updates very quickly.
Our top priority is making sure these devices are always safe for the families and kids/teens using them.
