Can Gabb come up with creating a Gabb Email and Gabb Browser? I'd like to see these added for the Gabb 4 Pro. I'd love to have a safe browser for kids and email too :)

I have hearing aids and need to have them linked to my phone. I'm sure others are in the same situation that I'm in.

Hey, my 16-year-old is starting dual enrollment this Wednesday and needs Brightspace pulse for his classes and assignments here are some reasons why.

    1. Improved Accessibility: Allowing Brightspace Pulse on a Gabb phone would enhance accessibility for students, enabling them to access important course materials and assignments from their mobile devices anytime, anywhere.

    2. Seamless Communication: Brightspace Pulse facilitates direct communication with instructors and classmates, promoting seamless interaction and collaboration. This is essential for students engaged in dual enrollment programs who may need quick access to updates and discussions related to their courses.

    3. Mobile Learning Flexibility: With Brightspace Pulse, students can conveniently review course content, track deadlines, and stay organized on-the-go. This aligns with the modern trend of mobile learning, offering students greater flexibility in managing their academic responsibilities.

    4. Efficient Course Management: Incorporating Brightspace Pulse on a Gabb phone streamlines the process of handling coursework, providing a single platform for managing assignments, grades, and course-related notifications. This efficiency is especially valuable for students balancing dual enrollment commitments.

    thank you

I’m reaching out to inquire about the possibility of adding Google Classroom to the Gabb device app store. I understand that certain apps may not function properly on Gabb devices due to the requirements outlined, such as the need for an internet browser to sign in. However, I wanted to highlight the significance of Google Classroom in our local educational ecosystem. It is the primary platform used by our public school district, which serves over 17,000 students.

Our school district has thoroughly vetted Google Classroom and deem it safe for student use, and it’s an integral part of our students' learning experience. Given this, I was wondering if there might be an option to allow parents to decide whether or not they would like their children to have access to this app on their Gabb devices.

Given the growing reliance on digital learning tools, having access to Google Classroom is essential for students, including those who use Gabb devices. I was hoping to better understand if there are any future plans to accommodate apps that require browser sign-ins or if Gabb devices may support similar educational tools that would meet these needs.

I would greatly appreciate a response regarding this matter, as well as any guidance or recommendations on how we can ensure that students using Gabb devices can access their educational resources effectively.

Thank you for your consideration and continued efforts to support safe technology for kids.

    Hello @BigSkyMom,

Thank you for this! We take the feedback of our customers very seriously. We work hard to meet the needs of our customers while upholding our mission to keep your children safe.

As noted in the photo below from the Gabb App Guide after requesting Google Classroom, the app does not meet our reviewing criteria. This is a paid app along with requiring an internet browser to function. Our Gabb Phones do not have access to an internet browser.

At this time, a feature allowing internet access to specific apps and not others is not available. We'd be happy to pass this along to our team as feedback as a potential future update. Again, we thank you for your feedback and are happy to have you as part of our Gabb family!

    Hello @Olivia,

Thank you for your feedback app requests. Amazon music does not meet our reviewing criteria for the approved 3rd party apps. When music apps such as Amazon music or Spotify are requested in our Gabb App Guide site, this message will appear letting customers know the app will not be approved as we have a safe music option through Gabb Music. Our goal is to keep Gabb users safe!

    Thank you!

    Hello @Cara,

Apps such as Roblox, Chrome, and Spotify do not meet the criteria our apps must pass to be approved to our 3rd party apps. You can find more information on the Reviewing Criteria for apps in our App Guide👈

The ESPN app is available. Fox Sports would be another great sports app to include in the Gabb App Store. Allowing kids to watch sporting events from phone when traveling would be great. Also seems like there should be a better way to request apps. Gabb has a web page that instructs requests to be sent to apps@gabb.com via e-mail but that e-mail address does not exist & e-mail bounces back.

Parents can still choose whether or not to subscribe & allow the app. I do not believe Disney allows unacceptable content. Great app for traveling on a car trip or other travel.

    Hello all!

We have gotten many app suggestions here in our Feature Idea section of the Discussion Forum. We love hearing from each of you and want to ensure that your requests are heard.

App requests can be made in your MyAccount under the App Store at Gabb.com when selecting "Request an App". When the request is made here, the request is sent to our team for a safety inspection before being approved or denied to ensure it follows the safety criteria. Please do not submit multiple requests for the same app as one request per person is counted per app.

If approved, the app will be added to our "app library" on our website for parents to add to their child's device. Please note that due to the volume of requests, it can take time for each submission to be evaluated. Check out our comment in our App Suggestion 👈️ post for information on the email notifications for app requests.

    Hope this helps!

This app on Gabb phones would be very valuable to older kids with younger siblings. It provides a baby monitor on your phone.

I have requested 2apps: Disney+ & Fox Sports. Gabb replied with a message to go to the App Suggestion link which appears to not exist. Is there an actual page to submit? There is an invalid e-mail address on one page out there. Could be a lot better & more clear way for all of us that signed up for the Gabb phone to request apps that we would like to be reviewed. Thank you.

    Hi @91BlueDad

Thank you for your interest in adding new apps to your Gabb Phone. We are always reviewing apps and adding more weekly.

Sorry for any confusion with the requesting an app process. I would love to help clarify this process. Here are the steps on how to request an app (see photos attached below):

    1. Log into your MyAccount
    2. Select Gabb App Store
    3. Select the Request an App button at the bottom-right hand of the screen

    Hope this helps!

I'm wanting to request the app "Libby" but I'm not sure how to get that added. I was on hold for over 30 minutes and I can't get a hold of anyone to ask. The chat function was busy as well. Libby is a library app. My daughter loves to read so I was wanting to get that for her.
